TEMPERATURE & PRESSURE RELATIONSHIP

The fittings are not to be used for hot water and should not exceed 20°C although they will withstand the same temperatures as polyethylene pipe. With increased temperature adjust pressure down as detailed below.

Body - High performance Polypropylene Copolymer Nut – High performance Polypropylene Copolymer Insert – High performance Polypropylene Copolymer O-Ring – Nitrile Rubber (NBR) Split Ring – Acetal (POM)

 

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

Plimat compression fittings are manufactured from Polypropylene with a split ring made from Acetal and NBR O’rings, which is suitable for water. For chemical applications please see chemical resistance chart.
